They say buy-to-let is dead. We agree — and that's exactly why it works for us.

It's fashionable to declare buy-to-let finished. Tax changes, tighter regulation and rising rates have squeezed the casual landlord, and for the old playbook — buy any house, rent it to one family, hope it goes up — we genuinely think that era is over.

So why do we still do it?

Because the strategy isn't dead — the lazy version is. With a few deliberate changes, buy-to-let still produces strong, dependable returns. We don't buy at market price and we don't rent the conventional way.

Our three rules

  • We only buy genuinely under-market-value properties — equity built in on day one.
  • We rent to social housing providers on long, secure, government-backed leases — or
  • We convert to HMO (room-by-room) to multiply the yield well beyond a single-let.
  • We source these deals tailored to your specific requirements and budget.
